How to setup auto-replies
Watch our interactive tutorial for setting up auto-replies (you must be signed in to Local Measure to access this tutorial).
Go to Settings then click on Pulsepoints
In Pulsepoint Settings, you will see each of your Pulsepoints. Find the Pulsepoint you wish to setup and click on the Auto-Reply button.
Click on Begin Setup
Customising Email Settings
You can customise the following email settings:
This will allow you to change the subject line of the email that gets sent to your customers. The default text is "A message from <location name>".
This will allow you to change the name recipients will see in their inbox. The default text is "<Location name>".
Reply email address
Here you will need to add the email address that you would like to receive email replies from the email that is sent out. There is no default for this field.
The email that you send to your customers can include the following information to enable your customers to contact you:
Facebook Messenger (your account must be setup for Engage)
Phone (add your phone number, including country code)
WhatsApp (add your WhatsApp phone number, including country code)
WeChat ID (add your WeChat name or ID)
Email signature name
This is the name that will appear under 'Kind Regards' in the email that is sent to your customer. There is no default for this default.
Customising Schedule Settings
During the BETA period these settings are locked. If you would like beta access to send auto-replies to Pulse feedback with no comments for ratings 1, 2 and 3, please contact Support by chatting with us using the chat bubble in the bottom left of the screen.
This allows you to enable auto-replies for Pulse ratings (without comments). This setting is locked to only 4 and 5 for users during the BETA period.
This will allow you to set the time delay for how long after receiving a Pulse your auto-reply email will be sent. This setting is locked to 15 minutes for users during the BETA period.
Sending a Preview
Here your will be able to send a test email to preview the message seen by your customers and make sure the links are working. This will send a preview of a message for a Rating 5 (Amazing).
The text for each auto-reply rating is predefined and cannot be updated at this time. Preview the message that will be sent for each rating.
Setting auto-replies live
Once you're happy with the preview, make sure to check the Auto-Replies Active box and click Save Settings to set this live for your customers.
